Weight 71.5kg, Waist 90cm

I have started my weight loss journey with ULTRAslim and lost 13.1kg and 16cm off my waist thanks to ULTRAslim. I now have the confidence to continue and lose a few more unwanted kilos.

I am exercising 6 days a week, eating a large variety of healthy food along with the great tasting ULTRAslim shakes.

I would not have been able to it without the support of my husband, Ross. Ross has taken more on board to free up my schedule so I can exercise early in the morning. He has helped cook some delicious stir frys and offered the occasional compliment, thanks darl. My children Benjamin, Thomas & Rebecca have also played a big part in my journey with their never-ending energy. They love to exercise with me on bike rides, play soccer in the backyard, and working out in the gym. I’m looking forward to swimming with them in the surf this summer. I love you. Thanks to my Mum & Dad who have supported and believed in me throughout my weight loss journey and for taking the before photo of me. To my friends who supported, believed and exercised with me, I thank you.

I am very grateful to ULTRAslim for this opportunity and the extra support Kathleen has given me to lose the weight and change my habits. It’s amazing what loosing weight has done for my health. I’m feeling excited about living life to the fullest. I plan to stay on the ULTRAslim weight loss program until I reach my goal weight. I will then go on the Healthy Eating Plan – Weight Maintenance. ULTRAslim products have become my lifestyle weight loss partner - a great way of maintaining my weight loss.

Thanks ULTRAslim,

Michelle

Week 12

I’m feeling better than I have in a very long time and am so excited!!!!

This week my children and I were looking at some photos taken of me earlier in the year and we could not believe how big I was.  I looked so bloated and uncomfortable. I find it amazing that I was overweight for so long. If I only knew it felt this good to be slimmer and active maybe I would have started a long time ago? It is definitely my time to live life to the fullest and really enjoy my children in an energetic and positive way.

These 12 weeks have gone so fast. Although I have lost a significant amount of weight, it only feels like I started the ULTRAslim blogging challenge a couple of weeks ago. Over the past few years I have tried to diet countless times but with the ease of the ULTRAslim program and the yummy, filling shakes I have found it much easier to succeed this time.

I am looking forward to summer and a holiday near the beach. I am going to buy a new swimming costume and I am not going to cover myself up and hide away this year. I’ll use block out cream to protect my skin this year not clothes to hide all the extra rolls of fat!

Week 11

Posted by: michelle

This week marks the first week of the school holidays. Our children are staying with my parents down the South Coast for a week, so my husband Ross & I have been out to dinner a couple of times. We had Thai one night and Italian the other. We chose the lighter options on the menu and both were delicious. In the past when we went out for dinner, we used to order so much food like it was our very last meal and we would come home so full. This time we just ordered a normal amount and ate slowly; it was also a lot more cost effective.

I worked all week on the weekend, cooking and giving people sample of our vege burgers and our gluten-free dips. They smelt delicious. There were all the other demonstration people cooking their products and it was very tempting, but I took my ready made shake along and had an apple. One lady’s comment to me was “how do you stay slim with this food as it is so moorish”. If she only knew I had just lost 11kg. It’s nice to see people actually now see me as slim!!!

On my weight loss journey I have averaged 1kg a week which I believe is a good steady way to loose the weight. I feel that I’m not missing out on food like other diets that may restrict you. With ULTRAslim you can still have your carbohydrates and your dark cherry chocolate bar. You just have to enjoy them and not over indulge, which you have to do to stay within your healthy weight range anyway. It’s teaching me good long-term habits.

Week Ten

Here are my measurements you requested Kathleen:

Weight 74kg, Waist 94cm

I have reached my next mini goal of loosing 10 kilos and 12cm off my waist. It’s just an amazing feeling to have achieved this in such a short time. I am still very motivated and I have found setting small goals along the way easier, and before long the small goals turn into big results.

I look forward to my ULTRAslim shake, especially my morning shake after I have exercised. I am usually hungry and having the shake is a quick and easy solution. My hunger subsides as soon as I drink the shake.

My will power was definitely tested yesterday, Ross, the children & I were working in the garden and realised it was late, so my husband and children went to buy some take away lunch. He came back home and called me to sit outside and eat with them. I asked what he had for me and knowing I’m only eating healthy he bought me some fresh fruit. I found it a bit hard to smell their takeaway, so the only way I could stop from being so tempted was to go inside and make my chocolate shake. I think I struggled because I was so hungry, so my lesson is don’t forget to eat lunch because I could have so easily taken the easy option and eaten that take away.

On the weekend we went to the markets and we bought heaps of fresh fruit and vegetables. How times have changed three months ago we would have come home with junk food.

Week Nine

Well this week I am definitely back on track, I suppose we all have our bad weeks and before ULTRAslim I would have just given up and gone back to my bad habits of not caring and I would have believed I have blown the diet now, so I would have just given up.

That was then, but this is now.

I am definitely back on track. I get up early every morning to go walking, jogging, and sprinting. I have totally jumped back into it and I really do enjoy it. I have never believed in myself enough to think that I could jog, and in just a few weeks here I am jogging and totally addicted. Instead of being addicted to the bad things in life, I feel I’ve turned my life around and am addicted to exercise, healthy eating and of course ULTRAslim.

This week has been another busy week at work, with new challenges and new goals set for me. I approach work in the same way I now approach weight-loss. I work hard, give it my all, and enjoy the benefits. The company I work for make fresh dips and one of them being hommus. So after reading the ULTRAslim tin and seeing having the crackers and hommus for afternoon tea is part of the diet, I now enjoy this healthy snack regularly. I’m on track to reach my next mini goal next week…

Week Eight

I am still trying to get over my flu, so this week has been flat. I have done some exercise (4 sessions) but being so sick ,coughing, as well as lacking energy, has been a bit of a disaster.  I have had a bit of a set back and did start eating some comfort foods which I instantly regretted. I’m now putting it down to a bad week and have picked myself up and turned the situation around. I’ve started thinking positive thoughts again and I’m enjoying my fantastic achievements so far.

I forgot my lunch shake on Monday and I felt very hungry; it made me realize how important my ULTRAslim shake is in helping me stay full – I was so hungry all I could think of was food.

Next week I’m looking forward to having some great results…

Week Seven

This week began with a great game of soccer with my children. I exercised in my gym and ate some fresh and tasty food and of course drank my scrumptious ULTRAslim shake.

I look forward to my lunch which I prepare each morning; it usually consists of a salad creation I’ve made or sometimes I just have a sandwich which is a nice alternative. I have started to really appreciate my body and what I eat. Even though I am enjoying this journey, I never want to mistreat my body again or lapse into becoming overweight, self conscious and unmotivated with low self esteem.

The last 2 days I’ve been sick with the flu, which is a hiccup I don’t want to deal with but these challenges come up now and again, the only thing I haven’t been able to do is exercise.

Week Six

Well this marks the halfway point and I am having some fantastic results. I’m loosing weight, getting fit and starting to feel great. I have so much more energy and I actually look forward to rising early and exercising. ULTRAslim seems to fit into my life quite easily.

This week I started a new full time job with a company that manufactures natural foods which is fantastic! It is so healthy and tasty; I’m really enjoying learning all about the Natural Food Industry.

I have managed to keep up with my exercise and I’m starting to jog and use light weights. My training partner keeps insisting on stretching and special kicks which all seem to be working as my fitness level has come so far in such a short time. It’s amazing how quickly you can see the results.

I think with ULTRAslim it works so well because you still get to eat at each meal and not miss out on food, therefore I don’t feel like I’m craving any foods. This week I have mainly been having stir fries for dinner and salads for lunch.

My achievements with ULTRAslim are above my expectations and I feel like the weight is falling off.

If I feel this good after the first 6 weeks, I’m really looking forward to the next 6…

Week Five

I have had such a fantastic week, I celebrated my birthday and my family took me on holiday to the beach. We had a fun filled few days and I even went to the gym on my birthday. While we were away I joined in with the kids playing soccer and baseball on the beach (no-more sitting down and watching the children anymore) and I also relaxed with a well deserved massage. After coming home, a few of my friends popped in to celebrate with cakes and champagne, I did have some but was in control of my quantities. It showed me that I am learning how to maintain my weight loss long term without over indulging and not giving up on my goals.

One of the things I like about ULTRAslim is that it keeps me full, so when I’m eating my lunch it isn’t necessary to over eat because the shake is doing it’s job and filling me up.

I have kept up with my exercise regime which I am still thoroughly enjoying. I also reached a mini goal this week by loosing 5kg, which is fantastic. I have also had a couple of people notice my weight loss which is a wonderful feeling and my clothes are starting to feel a little loose.

Next week I start my new job which I’m a little nervous about…

Week Four

Posted by: michelle

This week I got a full-time job which I‘m very excited to start. Working full time is definitely going to take some organizing. There will have to be a total re-shuffle in my household, but just as my family will learn to adjust, so will I. I will need to learn to be organized and pre-plan my meals in advance and stick to an exercise plan.

I have been keeping up with my exercise regime and thoroughly enjoying it. I am using muscles in my body that have not been used in a long time. So I have been a bit sore but for some crazy reason I want more. I have so much more energy it’s like my body is starting to crave exercise and I have never experienced this before in my life.

My friend that I walk with  while our daughters are dancing, last week was asking me about ULTRAslim products, she said she has seen the cherry bars before but never bought them incase she didn’t like them. I told her they taste really nice and that she should try them. Well this week when we caught up she said she bought them and said they taste exactly like her other favourite cherry bar.

I have tried a few recipes of the ULTRAslim dinner choice menu like the mouth watering Thai Beef and the Vegetable & Lentil Pilaf which my husband Ross really enjoyed and I finally made the country potato and it was so delicious that even my son Benjamin loved that one too!

Well next week is my birthday and we are going away for a few days…

Question?

If for some reason I don't have a shake with me at lunch does it blow the diet out if I have a salad sandwich?
